Mission Accomplished

I'm back from the middle of the middle of nowhere and it was beautiful. Thankfully there were no technical difficulties this time around and for the most part the weather cooperated. Mark and I had a blast and we're already dreaming of all the places we will go someday. It's always good to dream. :)

This picture was taken in Copper Harbor, the northern most spot in the Upper Peninsula, right outside our motel room. It was an incredible spot for some quiet time with the Lord.

Between the view and Kay Arthur bringin' home the Word of God, this was one of my favorite moments.

I truly think God created one of His most beautiful landscape art when He formed Copper Harbor and put it on the map!...and then, when He has His loons take a stroll through the harbor...well, it just doesn't get too much better than that!...And yes, I agree...There should be signs in the U.P. that state, "YES, YOU REALLY ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!" So happy you had a wonderful time!

Hey Leigh, where was that hotel? Was it kind of like a log cabin on the outside? Doug and I went there several years ago...and of COURSE, they had the hottest summer on record...one day it was 105 degrees!!!! There was ONE restaurant there that had air conditioning...needless to say, we ate there for every meal!
